These terms cover your use of the Knitting With Cat app for iPhone and Apple Watch. By using the app you agree to them.

What the app is

Knitting With Cat is a row counter and project tracker for knitting. It keeps row, section and repeat counts, shows your PDF pattern and tutorial videos beside the counter, holds a knitting notebook, sets row reminders, and keeps a cat on screen while you work.

There is no account. Everything you create is stored on your device — see the Privacy Policy.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some features and some cats are paid. Prices below are in USD; the App Store shows the price in your local currency, which may differ.

For the auto-renewing subscriptions:

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings on your device → your name → Subscriptions, at any time after purchase.

One-time purchases (the lifetime unlock and individual cats) do not renew. Use Restore Purchases in the app’s settings to unlock them again on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are Apple’s decision, not ours. Request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your content

Your projects, notes and pattern files are yours. Only open pattern PDFs you have the right to use — a pattern you bought is normally licensed to you alone, and these terms do not give you any right to redistribute it. We never receive or store those files, so we cannot recover them for you if you lose your device.

Video links you attach are opened from YouTube; what you see there is governed by YouTube’s own terms, not ours.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app, and do not use it to distribute unlawful material.

Availability and accuracy

We try hard to keep counters accurate and reminders on time, but the app is provided “as is”. Notifications, Live Activities and extended Apple Watch sessions depend on iOS and watchOS behaviour that we do not control. We are not liable for a miscounted row or a project that does not turn out as you hoped.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time and delete it.

Changes

If these terms change materially we will update the date above.
