Privacy Policy
Yumiya is an archery scoring app that runs entirely on your device. It collects nothing about you — no account, no analytics, no ads.
The short version
- We collect nothing. No personal data, no usage analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.
- No account, no sign-up, no login. Yumiya never creates a user identifier.
- Your scores stay on your device. Rounds, ends, arrows, loadouts, goals and settings are stored locally on your iPhone/iPad.
- No third-party SDKs. There is no analytics, ad, or data-broker code in the app.
- Optional iCloud sync uses your own iCloud account — we never receive or can read it.
- Delete the app and the local data is gone with it.
What we collect
Nothing. Yumiya does not ask for, generate, or transmit your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, advertising identifier, or any other personal data. The app makes no network calls to us — there is no Yumiya server. We have no database of users because there are no users to track.
What we store, and where
Your archery data — rounds, ends, individual arrow scores, loadouts (equipment), goals, and app settings such as theme — is stored locally on your device using the operating system's on-device storage. It never leaves your device except through the two Apple mechanisms below, both of which you control.
iCloud sync (optional)
Yumiya offers optional iCloud synchronisation so your scores can follow you between your own Apple devices. When enabled in Settings, your data is synced through Apple's iCloud key-value store, tied to your own iCloud account. The data lives only in your iCloud; Yumiya never receives it, never stores it on any server, and cannot read it. You can turn this off at any time, and you can remove the data from your iCloud through your Apple device settings.
Separately, if you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, iOS may include Yumiya's local data in your device backup. This is standard iOS behaviour, controlled by you in your device's iCloud settings — not something Yumiya manages.
Notifications
Any reminders Yumiya shows are local notifications scheduled on your device by the operating system. They do not require a server and nothing is transmitted to us or any third party.
Third parties
The only third party involved in Yumiya's operation is Apple, which distributes the app via the App Store and provides the iCloud features described above, under Apple's privacy policy. We do not use Google, Firebase, Meta, analytics providers, advertising networks, or any data broker.
Children
Yumiya is not directed at children, and because it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Your data lives on your device, fully under your control. You can edit or delete any entry in the app, and deleting the app removes all of its local data. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to request, export, or delete.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
